Break into the Bank
Use one of three possible methods to break into Dolores Michaels' bank.
Search the Custodian's Apartment
The Bank Custodian lives on Duchess Lisandra Avenue. He should have a key to access the sanitation area from outside.
Proceed to the Bank
Go to Dolores Michaels' Deposit & Loan Bank and break in.
Look for the Access Wrench
You'll need to locate the worker's access wrench before opening the sewer valve hatches.
Open the Sewer Hatches
Now that you have the access wrench, you can open the sewer hatches. Turn both valves to clear the sewer passage.
Go through the Sewer
Now that the passage has been cleared, go through the sewer to make your way inside the bank.
Enter the Bank
Find a way inside Dolores Michaels' bank through the sewer.
Look for the Custodian
The Custodian's last known whereabouts is by a cliff near the bank. Go there to search for the key to the bank's sanitation area.
Take the Custodian's Key
Search the Custodian's body for the key to the bank's sanitation area.
Unlock the Gate
Use the key retrieved from the Custodian's body to unlock the gate to the sanitation area.
Throw out the Trash
It should be possible to get inside the bank using the trash disposal system in the sanitation area.
Enter the Bank
Make your way inside Dolores Michaels' bank using the trash disposal system.
Look for the Painter's Lift
A painter's lift should be able to help you reach the rooftops of the bank.
Power the Painter's Lift
The painter's lift needs a whale oil tank to operate. Find one and place it in the nearby generator.
Operate the Painter's Lift
Raise yourself up to the rooftops using the painter's lift.
Cross the Gap
The bank rooftops are nearly within reach. Cross the gap from there.
Enter the Bank
Find a way inside Dolores Michaels' bank from the rooftops.
Circumvent the Defenses
Acquire the Vault Key and move the vault to a more vulnerable position.
Reach the Inner Atrium
Make your way to the Inner Atrium to begin unraveling the Vault's defenses.
Reach the Director's Office
The director of the bank, Dolores Michaels, holds the key to the vault. Look for it in her office.
Locate the Vault Key
Search Dolores Michael's office for the Vault Key.
Investigate Security & Administration
Investigate the Security & Administration floor to find out how to reach the vault control room.
Find the Chief of Security
Look for the Chief of Security in the Archives & Lockboxes area. He handles all the authorization codes, including the one needed to access the security office.
Learn the Authorization Code
Discover the authorization code to access the security office.
State the Authorization Code
Bypass the door to the Security Office either by speaking the authorization code into the microphone or by some other means.
Reach the Control Room
Make your way to the control room to find out how to gain access to the vault.
Move the Vault
Using the controls, place the vault in a vulnerable position.
Steal the Knife
Now that you have access to the vault, steal the Twin-Bladed Knife from the Eyeless's safe within.
Reach the Vault
Now that it's in a vulnerable position, make your way towards the vault and complete the heist.
Open the Vault
Use Dolores Michaels' Vault Key to unlock the vault.
Steal the Knife
Use Shan Yun and Ivan Jacobi's keys to open the Eyeless's Safe and take the Knife within.
Return to the Dreadful Wale
Make your way out of Dolores Michaels' bank and return to the Dreadful Wale.
Escape from the Bank
With the Twin-Bladed Knife finally in your possession, make a swift getaway to the streets of Karnaca.
Return to the Dreadful Wale
Take the carriage back to the Dreadful Wale.
Return to the Dreadful Wale
Take the skiff back to the Dreadful Wale.

There's a pharmacy nearby that might sell just the right thing to put the bank personnel to sleep.

Find the district pharmacy and look for laudanum once you're there.

Cienfuegos Pharmacy is closed, but the owner may be found at her apartment on Ferella Way.
Win the Auction
The poppy tincture will be auctioned off at Colibron Plaza tonight. Purchase or steal it.

Empty the poppy tincture into the air duct on the bank rooftop.

Get me that gem!
Quiet as a Mouse
Meryl Jennett has an appointment with the Director of the Bank tonight. She plans to store her most precious belongings there, one of which is an infamous address book. We need you to copy down page 125 without raising suspicion — that means no getting caught, and no harming bank personnel!
The Art Connoisseur
An exquisite painting by Duke Abele himself is currently locked up on a delivery boat in Upper Cyria. Such a masterpiece deserves to be cherished by someone who can fully appreciate it's worth, not bought or sold or traded away for a few lousy bonecharms. I'm offering a substantial reward to whoever steals it for me.
Pickpocket's Delight
Quick errand for the talented pickpocket. There's an Elite Guard stationed on Cadmus Abele plaza here in Upper Cyria. He has a note attached to his belt that he's planning to deliver tonight. Do me a favor and steal the note without him or anyone else noticing. If they catch you, you ain't getting paid!
Mission clues
The sequence 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13 appears to have something to do with the safes inside the vault. Keep these numbers in mind if you want to crack the code.
There is a vault control room on the Security & Administration floor. An operator can maneuver the vault into different positions from there.
Dolores Michaels, the director of the bank, is a high-ranking member of the Eyeless cult. There are bound to be secrets in her private office.
The Chief of Security has a list of current authorization codes. They can be used to gain access to restricted areas within the bank, among other things.
A lever which can be used to decouple the vault's braking mechanism is being kept in the vault maintenance room at Dolores Michaels' Deposit & Loan Bank.

Only tattooed Eyeless members are granted access to the Spector Club in the Upper Cyria district. There is a tattoo machine inside the Red Camellia Beauty Parlor.
The Bank Custodian holds the key to the sanitation area. He was heading towards the cliff near Dolores Michaels' Deposit & Loan Bank when he went missing.
An auction is being held at Colibron Plaza tonight. You can steal or bid on the poppy tincture you need to sedate the bank personnel there.
Cienfuegos Pharmacy has been closed down by the bank, but you can find the pharmacist's daughter in her apartment, near Ivan Jacobi's office on Ferella Way.
You can leave the Upper Cyria district using the skiff in the canal.
A swarm of rats in the Upper Cyria district has noticed a broken body on the rocks. A citizen may have fallen to his death by the cliffside.
The rats have spotted a powerful bonecharm nearby. It's hidden under a wooden crate, somewhere in the streets of Upper Cyria.

A lifetime ago, I felt the power of the Void through Daud. All of us who were close to him could do unnatural things. Move from rooftop to rooftop in the blink of an eye. Fall on our enemies and slit their throats, like shadows sharpened to a fine edge. I made Dunwall bleed for all it had done to me, to the ones I loved. Now the Outsider has given that back, for reasons I don't understand. But it feels good. We killed so many rich bastards who thought nothing of hurting us. It felt like justice. Is the Outsider to blame for what we did? Does corruption come from the Void or from our own hearts? Witches and charlatans wearing necklaces of fingers and teeth. Cities sliding into chaos. Now the Eyeless peddle black magic in the streets while their leaders keep even more dangerous secrets locked away. They've got a relic that turned a boy into a god, centuries ago. A knife that might be the only way to destroy that god. The Outsider knows I intend to steal it. Does he know what else I intend to do?

Detach from Hook Mine
You can detach a target or object from the Hook Mine with a single strike.
Eyeless
Low-ranking members of the Cult of the Outsider. They are easily identified thanks to their distinctive tattoos.
Void Energy
Your powers consume Void Energy, a resource that replenishes over time.
Displace
You can use Displace through fences or windows if a marker is already deployed on the other side.
Semblance
Using Semblance to impersonate a specific target will open up a whole new set of opportunities.
Foresight
You can deploy a Displace marker during your exploration with Foresight.
Black Bonecharms
Certain black bonecharms can add powerful effect to your supernatural abilities.
Displace on a Target
If you Displace on a living target, they will explode into pieces and you will be hurt.
Scouting for Bonecharms
Bonecharms are easy to detect when scouting the area with Foresight.
Semblance on Corpses
You can impersonate an unconscious target, but you can't impersonate the dead.
Neutralizing with Semblance
You can choke or assassinate enemies while impersonating someone else, but if you are seen, the illusion will be broken.
Retreating with Displace
You can deploy a Displace marker in a strategic place, allowing you to retreat from a dangerous situation.
Void Strike
Void Strike projects the target in the direction of the strike. This can be used to throw them off an edge.
Semblance and Wolfhounds
You can deceive humans with Semblance, but Wolfhounds aren't as easily fooled. They will recognize you by your scent.
Voltaic Gun Overcharge
Charging a shot for too long will result in involuntary firing.
Electrified Floor
After a short charge time, unauthorized beings who step foot on the Electrified Floor are neutralized.
Semblance and Security
Semblance cannot trick security systems, including Clockwork Sentinels.
Black Market
You can find new Contracts at the Black Market, as well as bonecharms, ammunition and upgrades.

Breaking apart
The Outsider. The fucking Outsider himself, on my ship like he’d been waiting for me. Now I’m writing this down with half a hand and an eye that will never shut again. I can’t touch them without shuddering. It feels just like the dreams.
What did he see? Everything, if the Abbey’s right. He has to know what Daud and I are planning. Why tear half of me away? The Eyeless kill over scraps of magic, and now I can see where the world is cracking like a mirror.
I didn’t want any of this.
(Does the Outsider always talk like that? Cryptic little shit. No wonder Daud hates him.)
Many eyes
Daud used to say that everything in Dunwall was tangled together. That nothing was a coincidence. Well, it’s true for Karnaca too. The Eyeless might seem like a bunch of thugs trading bloody bones and foul recipes, but their coin flows from a richer vein.
I found two of their leaders. Shan Yun, the Tyvian songbird, and Ivan Jacobi, a city administrator. They have the knife that killed the Outsider, and they’re keeping it hidden away behind lies and locked doors. But now I have their keys, and somewhere in Dolores Michaels' bank is a lock that needs turning. I won’t let the Eyeless stay hidden anymore.
Not myself
I see shadows everywhere this dead eye looks, and my right arm twitches and blurs as if it’ll start moving on its own. These things aren’t a part of me, but I can’t escape them. The Outsider changed me into something I still don’t understand.
In Dunwall, Daud taught me that no one was innocent, and gave me the means to judge them. Does the Outsider expect me to look down at him like I can look down at Karnaca, and hold his life in this broken hand? Does he want to see me carve up this city to find him?
I know he’s watching. Well, I’m staring right back.
